Bewersdorff ( born 1 February 1958 in Neuwied ) is a German mathematician, non-fiction author and game developers.

Bewersdorff studied following his Abitur at the Werner -Heisenberg -Gymnasium in Neuwied from 1975 mathematics and computer science at the University of Bonn, where in 1985 he was a PhD with Günter Harder at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics with a thesis in which he topological methods ( Lefschetz fixed point theorem ) in number theory anwandte ( Lefschetzsche A fixed point formula for Hecke operators ). Later he worked as a mathematician in the playground equipment industry, where he is managing director of Mega - play area in Limburg an der Lahn, which has existed since 1988 and slot machine games developed .. He is also a director of the company GeWeTe (money exchange and cash machines ) in Mechernich. He lives in Limburg.

Bewersdorff wrote three also to wider circles -turning fiction books on algebra, game theory and mathematical statistics. Two of his books have been translated into English.
