In his music Drexler combines traditional music of Uruguay ( candombe, murga, milonga ), bossa nova, pop music, jazz and electronic music, resulting in very personal compositions. Also the lyrics of his songs play an important role. Apart from love are more thoughtful topics such as the coexistence of cultures and religions important parts of his works.
