Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa

Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa ( born December 28, 1937 in Porto ) is the president of the football club FC Porto.

Pinto da Costa attended the Jesuit school in Santo Tirso and has won sixteen member of FC Porto. His official career began in 1962 when he became head of roller hockey department. After a stopover in the Boxabteilung he came 1975 on the football department. In 1980 he was appointed to the Management Board, on 17 April 1982, he was elected as its president.

During his tenure, the club celebrated the biggest success; so were in soccer numerous international and national successes, such as winning the UEFA Champions League in 1987 and 2004, as well as the Penta, the five consecutive championships from 1995 to 1999, and numerous successes in the departments handball, basketball and roller hockey achieved.

2005 his autobiography Largos Dias TEM appeared 100 Anos.
