Jörn Großkopf

Jörn Grosskopf ( born August 29, 1966 in Hamburg ) is a former German football player and current football coach.

Playing career

Jörn Grosskopf joined in 1988 by HEBC Hamburg for FC St. Pauli in the Bundesliga. After 30 games and 2 goals, he moved to SC Concordia Hamburg. For the SC Concordia, he completed nearly 100 games in the then - Regionalliga Nord ( third league). He then worked at Eimsbütteler TV, Union 03 Altona, TSV Sasel and Niendorf TSV. Grosskopf ended his playing career in 2005 at the Niendorf TSV. He was considered a " low-maintenance player ."

Coaching career

Following his career Grosskopf assumed the position as coach of Niendorf TSV 2005. In 2007 he moved to FC St. Pauli where he took over the U19. These he led after only one year, 2008, the A- League Season youth north-east. In January 2009 he became the head coach for the U23 of the club with which he was promoted to the Regionalliga Nord / North-East, but in 2010 descended again after one year. In 2011 he managed the team its chances of promotion by a wide margin to the competition.

From June 2012 to March 2013 acquired United head to the Hennes Weisweiler Academy in the German Football Association Sports Hennef the football teacher's license.

His contract at FC St. Pauli was not renewed surprising about the 2012/13 season also. As of June 2013 Grosskopf was the successor of Uwe Wolf 's new coach of the regional league team KSV Hessen Kassel. He was equipped with a one-year contract. On 12 November 2013, the club announced the exemption of large head.

Private

Grosskopf is married. He has training in wholesale and foreign trade, social security expert and an insurance specialist is ( BWV ).
