José Bello

José Bello Lasierra ( called Pepín Bello, born May 13, 1904 in Huesca, Aragon, † January 11, 2008 in Madrid) was a Spanish intellectuals.

Bello, son of the engineer Severino Bello Poëysuan grew los Ríos in the context of parental friends Joaquín Costa, Santiago Ramón y Cajal and Francisco Giner de on. At the age of eleven, he was able to enroll in the Madrid artist promotion " Residencia de Estudiantes de Madrid " and met Salvador Dalí, Luis Buñuel, Federico García Lorca and Rafael Alberti know. He was the last survivor of the " Generación del 27".

Bello, who had studied medicine, was primarily an intellectual with great influence on his contemporaries creatively active. He has self- published little and some painted pictures, which is why he was regarded as " Artists without works ". He was known primarily as an organizer of art events. He was during the Franco regime, among others, relating to management of the hydroelectric power plant in the province of Huesca, operated a tannery in Burgos and a drive-in theater in Madrid. None of the transactions was ultimately successful.
