José de Jesús Alfaro

José de Jesús Alfaro (* 1800, † 1855) was from August 11 to November 2, 1851 Director Supremo of Nicaragua in Granada.

Life

José de Jesús Alfaro was a member of the Partido Legitimista. On August 5, 1851 José Trinidad Muñoz Fernández and José Laureano Pineda Ugarte coup went with his cabinet of Léon to Honduras and returned to Nicaragua on November 2, 1851. In Granada José Francisco de Montenegro and José de Jesús Alfaro had taken over the office of the Director Supremo on 11 August 1851. During this time three people complained the Office of the Director Supremo for themselves: Pineda in exile in Honduras, José Francisco del Montenegro in Granada ( Nicaragua) and Justo Abaunza y Muñoz de Avilés in Leon (Nicaragua ).
