José de Jesús Méndez Vargas

José de Jesús Méndez Vargas (aka El Chango, The Fat and Fat Papa) is an alleged leader of the La Familia Michoacana Mexican.

After the supposed death of Nazario Moreno González came to power struggles within the " La Familia " in which José de Jesús Méndez prevailed.

On 21 June 2011, the Mexican police arrested him at a roadblock in Aguascalientes. Upon his arrest were converted two million euros on information leading to his arrest, suspended.
