José Julia

José Cayetano Julia Cegarra ( born July 1, 1979 in Cieza ) is a retired Spanish road bicycle racer.

José Julia began his career in 2002 at the Spanish cycling team Kelme -Costa Blanca. His first successes came in 2004. He only won a stage of the Tour of Portugal. In the Vuelta a España he chose the 16th stage of Olivenza to Caceres before Tadej Valjavec and Danilo Di Luca for themselves. Since 2005 Julia riding for the Spanish ProTour team Illes Balears. End of 2006, he finished his career.

2002 José Julia after the race Tour de l' Avenir and Paris -Tours blocked due to doping with corticosteroids for six months and had to pay 2000 Swiss francs fine.
