José Luis Caminero

José Luis Pérez Caminero ( born November 8, 1967 in Madrid ), usually just called Caminero, is a former Spanish footballer. His former position was the central midfield.

Career

Caminero started his footballer career at Real Madrid. In the Merengues, he managed in the cadre of second- team Castilla CF, the first team he never reached, however. In the summer of 1989 he moved to Real Valladolid. 1991/92 rose from his team, but the following year could, not least thanks to the strong performances of Caminero, back in the Primera División back. After the fourth season with the Castilians, he finally moved in summer 1993 to Atlético Madrid. In these he quickly became a fixture in the midfield, and finally celebrated in the 1995/96 season winning the championship and the Cup. In 1998 he returned to Real Valladolid, where he remained until his career end in 2004.

Caminero disputed with Spain, the finals of the World Cup 1994 and the European Football Championship 1996.
