José Luis Castillo

José Luis Castillo ( born December 14, 1973 in Empalme, Mexico) is a Mexican professional boxer and former two-time WBC champion at lightweight.

Career

Castillo began his professional career in 1990 at the age of seventeen and punched the first ten years of his career exclusively in Mexico. Mid-90s, he was defeated in battle by the Mexican champion featherweight title to eventual champions César Soto and Javier Jáuregui.
