José Luis Merino
José Luis Merino ( born June 10, 1927 in Madrid ) is a Spanish film director and screenwriter.
Life
Merino was active as an assistant director in the 1950s. For the film Aquellos tiempos del cuplé, in which he directed in collaboration with Mateo Cano, who Jimeno Revelation Award was presented. In the 1960s he turned then spaghetti westerns and adventure films.
Sometimes he also used as a pseudonym J. L. Merino Boves or Joseph Marvin.
