José Luís Vidigal

Vidigal ( born March 15, 1973 in Sá da Bandeira; actually José Luís da Cruz Vidigal ) is a Portuguese football player, playing on the position of midfielder. He plays to time in the Super League at Estrela Amadora.

Career

Vidigal began his career at the former Portuguese first division side GD Estoril. After one season, he moved to Portuguese club Sporting Lisbon tradition and was periodically used here. In his last season (1999/2000) at Sporting Lisbon, the club won the league title and the Portuguese Super Cup. Despite these successes, Vidigal then moved to Napoli. In this club he was initially rarely used in Serie A and at the end of the season occupied the Neapolitans into the relegation zone. In the following season in Serie B Vidigal matured into a regular player. 2004/ 05 changed Vidigal in the Serie A for AS Livorno in which he belonged to the tribe formation. After a brief stop at Udinese Calcio in the season 2005/ 06 he moved back to Livorno. In 2008 he left this club and moved to Portugal to Estrela Amadora.

Vidigal played so far 15 caps for Portugal and was during the EURO 2000 regulars.
