José Maria Larocca

José Maria Larocca ( ​​born January 1, 1959 in Wettingen, Switzerland ) is an Argentine -jumper.

Career

In childhood, he began riding training.

In 2008 he took part with Royal Power in the Olympics for Argentina.

For his participation at the World Equestrian Games in Kentucky and the Olympic Games in London 2010 Albert Larocca Zoers gelding Okidoki acquired for millions. Only a few months later, the two fell on 11 June at the five-star competition in Cannes. Okidoki retired while seeing a tear in the foreleg. During the recovery phase, there were complications, which necessitated a further intervention at a specialist clinic in Bern. There, the gelding died of septic shock in the abdomen.

Larocca is working as a trader in Geneva. His father owns a riding stable in Argentina.
