Josef Adolf

Josef Adolf ( born May 14, 1898 in Pec pod Sněžkou, † 1951 in Viechtach ) was a Czechoslovak Nordic skier.

Adolf won at the First Nordic World Ski Championships 1925 in Johannisbad behind compatriot Otakar Německý the silver medal in the individual Nordic Combined and fourth place respectively about 18 and 50 km cross-country skiing. A year earlier at the Olympic Winter Games in 1924 in Chamonix -Mont- Blanc, he finished sixth in the combination. Also in 1924 he became a Swiss ski champions.
