Joseph Merhi
Joseph Toufik Merhi ( born June 1, 1953 in Southampton, England) is a British film director and producer. Merhi founded in 1984 along with Richard Pepin the film company City Lights, which was later renamed as PM Entertainment. 2000 PM Entertainment was sold and soon had to close it. Merhi has been known to shoot action films for the direct-to- DVD market, which often include chases and big, spectacular explosions.
After 1997 and the movie Executive Target Merhi decided to focus more on producing direct-to- DVD movies. In 2007 he directed the film Oranges for ten years for the first time directing.
