Josh Peck
Joshua " Josh " Michael Peck ( born November 10, 1986 in New York City ) is an American film actor. He began in the late 1990s to acting and became known in Germany for his role as Josh Nichols in the Nickelodeon series Drake & Josh. He played in the Amanda Show and in the films Snow Day and Max Keeble 's great plan. He also works together with the ONE campaign, the largest coalition in the fight against poverty.
Biography
Josh Peck was born in New York. His parents were unmarried at the time of his birth and he learned his father never knew. Peck was raised by his Jewish mother and his grandmother on mother's side. He had asthma and stayed in his childhood often at home and saw old television series. This inspired him and at age eight he decided to become a comedian; he appeared in various children's theaters and improvised all his jokes at the Caroline 's Comedy Club for the Audrey Hepburn Foundation. In 1999 he took up the suggestion of his mother on a role in The Amanda Show on Nickelodeon and decided to move to San Francisco to further build his career.

Peck's favorite actors and idols are Richard Pryor, Jackie Gleason, Jerry Lewis, Bill Cosby, Ben Kingsley and Morgan Freeman. Josh Peck, who is very good friends with Drake & Josh - mate Drake Bell, plays in his spare piano and ice hockey.
