Jósvafő is located in north -eastern Hungary, 55 km north from the city of Miskolc. Neighboring municipalities are Aggtelek 6 km Szinpetri 6 km. The nearest town is 24 km from Szendrő Jósvafő. Once a day, there is a direct bus to Budapest around 200 km away.

Attractions

Jósvafő is located in the Aggtelek National Park. Above the village allow two entrances access to the Baradla Caves, the largest limestone caves in Hungary.
