Jouswier

Jouswier is a small village in the municipality Dongeradeel in the Dutch province of Friesland. It is located northeast of Dokkum and has 50 inhabitants (2008 ).

Jouswier is built on a mound, which is higher than other mounds in the eastern part of the municipality. In addition Jouswier has a church from the 13th century, dedicated to Saint Peter.
