The Joyeuse ( Basque: Behotegi ) is a river in France, which runs in the Aquitaine region in the département of Pyrénées- Atlantiques. It rises in the municipality of Iholdy, drained initially eastward, turning later to the north and crosses on their way the French Basque country. It opens after 27 kilometers in the municipality of Amendeuix - Uneix as a left tributary of the Bidouze.

Not to be confused with the homonymous river Joyeuse, which opens directly into the Adour and is also called Aran!
