József Nagy (athlete)

József Nagy ( born October 2, 1881 in Sárkeresztúr, Fejér, † after 1909 ) was a Hungarian sprinter and middle-distance runner.

At the Olympic Games in London in 1908, he left more than 400 m, 800 m and 1500 m in the flow. In the Olympic season he won the bronze medal with the Hungarian team in the cast Pál Simon, Frigyes Mezei, Nagy and Bodor Odon.

Twice he was about 440 yards (1903, 1904) and three times each over 880 yards (1904, 1905, 1908) and in the mile run (1903, 1904, 1909) Hungarian champion.
