Jørgen Kosmo

Jørgen Kosmo Hårek ( born December 5, 1947 in Fauske ) is a Norwegian politician of the Labour Party.

Kosmo was 1993-1997 Norwegian Minister of Defense and 2000-2001 labor and administrative minister. He was the president of the Norwegian Storting From October 2001 to 30 September 2005. The Parliament he was a member from 1985 to 2005 representing the province of Vestfold. On 2 July 2004 he was appointed with effect from autumn 2005 Fylkesmann in Telemark. However, he did not come to the office, but took over the chairmanship of the Financial Control Committee of Parliament ( riksrevisjonen ). His term will run until 31 December 2013.
