Juan Pablo Rebella

Juan Pablo Rebella ( born December 3, 1974 in Montevideo, Uruguay; † July 5, 2006 ) was an Uruguayan writer and director.

Life

Together with Pablo Stoll 2001 he produced his first feature film, 25 Watt, which was awarded at film festivals in Rotterdam, Havana and Buenos Aires. The second film of the duo, whiskey was 2004 prize at the Cannes Film Festival, the Tokyo International Film Festival and the Sundance Film Festival.

On 5 July 2006, Rebella took in his apartment in Montevideo life.
