Juan Ramón Lacadena

Juan Ramón Lacadena Calero ( born November 14, 1934 in Zaragoza ) is a Spanish agricultural scientists. He studied agricultural science at the Escuela Especial de Ingenieros Agrónomos in Madrid and earned his PhD there in 1963. He was a member of CSIC, genetics professor at the Complutense University of Madrid ( UCM), Head of Department at the Universidad de La Laguna ( 1971) and the UCM (1971 - 2005). He was a member of the Sociedad Española de Genética (Secretary 1973-1985, President 1985-1990 ), the Comisión Nacional de Reproducción Humana Asistida (1997 ) and the International Bioethics Society ( 1997).
