Jüchnitz

The Jüchnitz is a three-mile- long tributary of the Tame Gera in Thuringia Forest west of Ilmenau.

The Jüchnitz originates in a wetland on Mönchshof ( Ausflugsgaststätte ) approximately 3 km due east of Gehlberg below the Salzmannstraße in about 750 meters. Your valley, the Jüchnitzgrund, runs north past the Jüchnitzteich between Mittelberg in the West and in the East High Waiting in Gera Berger Kirche wood.
