Judah II

Judah II (~ 235-250 ), also Judah Nesi'a ( רבי יהודה נשיאה ), was a Jewish patriarch.

Judah II or Jude II belonged to the first generation (about 230-250 AD), the Amora in Palestine.

He was a student and grandson of Judah ha - Nasi and son and successor of Gamaliel III. as nasi. Judah II is also known as Judah Nesi'a or rabbi, but by his grandfather Judah I. distinguish ( Judah ha - Nasi = Rabbi ).

However, Judah III. referred to as Judah Nesi'a.
