Judson Pratt

Judson Pratt ( born December 6, 1916 in Hingham, Massachusetts; † 9 February 2002 in Northridge, California ) was an American actor.

Life

Pratt began his career as a stage actor and in 1941 had his Broadway debut. He received first television roles in 1950, he celebrated his feature film debut in Alfred Hitchcock's film noir I confess, however, in an undisclosed uncredited role. His film roles were slowly important, such as in Jack Arnold's horror film The horror creeps through the night, and next to John Wayne in John Ford's Western The last command. Other supporting roles he played, among others, alongside Elvis Presley in Kid Galahad - Hard fists, hot love on the side of Richard Widmark in Cheyenne and alongside Peter Fonda in Future World - The Land of tomorrow. 1978 he had his last feature film appearance in the boxing drama FIST - A man walks his way with Sylvester Stallone in the lead role.

Between 1958 and 1959 he played a starring role in the Western series Union Pacific, but this was canceled after the first season. He was also seen in 1958 in various roles in the TV show Disneyland. By the end of the 1970s had Pratt guest roles in various television series, including Gunsmoke, Bonanza, Kojak - Kojak and The Streets of San Francisco. After he retired into private life.
