Jukebox the Ghost

Jukebox the Ghost is an American rock band. It consists of Ben Thornewill (vocals, piano), Tommy Siegel ( vocals, guitar) and Jessie will ( drums).

History

In 2003 she met the three musicians at the George Washington University to know and formed the band "The Sunday Mail". In 2005 she decided to take a break. During this time many new songs that are not so good fit to the band image, after which they decided to rename itself " Jukebox the Ghost " emerged. The name is a combination of a line of text from Captain Beefheart and a line from the book " Pnin " by Vladimir Nabokov.

2008 she released her first album Let Live & Let Ghosts, and the same year a sampler appeared with a cover version of Beautiful Life of the band Ace of Base. There followed several concert tours as the opening act, among other things, on the European Tour Adam Green in February 2010 or the Germany - tour of James Blunt in October 2011 with a tour final in Dusseldorf. On September 1, 2010, the band guest at the Late Show with David Letterman where they played the single Schizophrenia. On 7 September 2010 the associated album Everything Under the Sun appeared. October 2011 was released their latest album in New York.
