Jules Angst

Jules Angst ( born December 11, 1926 in Zurich ) is a Swiss professor of psychiatry.

Life

Fear grew up in Zurich and began his academic career there. He received his doctorate in 1953 and his habilitation in 1966. From 1969 to 1994 he was Professor of Clinical Psychiatry and Director of the Research Department of the Psychiatric University Hospital in Zurich. Since 1994 he is honorary professor at the University of Zurich.

His scientific work includes six monographs and numerous scholarly articles.
