Julie Anne Robinson

Julie Anne Robinson is a British theater, television and film director.

Life

Robinson began her career in 1998 as a theater director. Two years later, she worked first for British television and has directed in three episodes of the BBC soap opera Doctors. In the following years, she turned episodes of other television productions, including seven episodes of the soap opera Holby City. In 2004, she directed the first three parts of the six-part miniseries Blackpool. For this, she was nominated for a BAFTA Award, the series itself was awarded a 2006 Golden Globe nomination.

This enabled her to jump in the American television business; In the same year she turned an episode of Grey's Anatomy. With a total of five episodes of the series she produced another series episodes, including for the sitcom Samantha Who? 2009 began filming her first feature film The Last Song page, a Disney production with Miley Cyrus and Greg Kinnear in the lead roles.
