Julie Wu Chu ( born March 13, 1982 in Bridgeport ( Connecticut ), Connecticut) is an American ice hockey player of Chinese origin who has won numerous medals with the U.S. national team at the World Championships and Olympic Winter Games. Since 2010 she plays for the Montreal Stars in the Canadian Women's Hockey League.

Career

Julie Chu Wah father comes from China and emigrated with his mother at the age of one year initially to Hong Kong, 1967, then to New York City. There Wah learned his future wife Miriam know, the half - Chinese, half - Puerto Rican, and the date, he has three children. Julie Chu played football and coached figure skating as a child, before she started with the sport of ice hockey. In 2001 she graduated from high school and enrolled at Harvard University.

In 2007 she finished her studies with a degree in psychology.
