Julie Cloutier

Julie Cloutier ( born April 24, 1986 in Montreal ) is a Canadian fencer.

Life

At age eleven, she started in Repentigny up fencing. Since 2005 she is a member of the Canadian national team. Cloutier studied Cultural Studies at the University of Québec. She participated in the 2008 Olympics in singles and the team. With the team, she was in saber fencing seventh.

Success (selection)

• In 2006, she reached the silver medal with the team at the Pan American Games in Venezuela.
• In 2005, she won bronze at the World Cup in Havana Cuba.
• In 2004 she was second in the Canadian Championships in Laval.
