Julie Doiron

Julie Doiron (born 1972 in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada ) is a Canadian musician.

Julie Doiron initially studied photography. As a teenager she learned to play the piano, guitar and saxophone. She began playing at the age of 18 years TripAdvisor bass in the band Eric's, wrote while but even first songs for themselves, with guitar accompaniment. In 1996, she released her first solo album Broken Girl and solved simultaneously by the band. With the help of a state grant they realized Will You Still Love Me? (1999). Julie Doiron and the Wooden Stars she calls herself a and influential album, it was given the major Canadian Music Award Juno Award. Several solo albums followed, among others, Désormais in French. Their last album Woke myself up was also greater recognition in Europe

Julie Doiron lives in Sackville, New Brunswick with her three children Ben, Charlotte and Rose.
