Julio Parise Loro

Julio Parise Loro CSI, Giulio Parise ( born July 21, 1920 in Cologna Veneta, Italy, † October 5, 2010 in Archidona, Ecuador ) was a Roman Catholic Apostolic Vicar of Napo in Ecuador.

Life

Julio Parise Loro joined the Congregation of the Josephiner of St.. Leonardo Murialdo at and received on 15 August 1944, the ordination. He was from 1949 to 1952 and from 1973 to 1976 Provincial of the Order in Ecuador. From 1959 to 1964 he was delegated Superior for the United States and from 1964 to 1967 also provincial headquartered in Albuquerque ( New Mexico).

Pope Paul VI. appointed him on October 5, 1974 Titular Bishop of Thagamuta and appointed him auxiliary bishop in the Apostolic Vicariate of Napo. The Vicar Apostolic of Napo, Maximiliano Spiller CSI, donated to him on 8 December of the same year, the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were José Félix Pintado Blasco SDB, Vicar Apostolic of Mendez, and Enrico Bartolucci Panaroni MCCJ, Apostolic Vicar of Esmeraldas. During his tenure, the change of name of the diocese Guamá fell into the present Diocese of Bragança do Pará.

After the retirement Maximiliano Spillers he followed this up on 27 April 1978 as Vicar Apostolic of Napo after and was introduced to the office on 18 May 1978. On August 2, 1996 Pope John Paul II accepted his resignation age-related.
