Juliusz Machulski
Juliusz Machulski ( born March 10, 1955 in Olsztyn ) is a Polish film director, screenwriter and film producer.
Life
Machulski was born as the son of the famous Polish actor January Machulski. He graduated from the Film School in Łódź. His first feature film he shot in 1981. His comedies are enjoying great popularity in Poland and have just been in the 1990's major box office success in Poland. Machulski has won several awards 1981-2004 at the Polish Film Festival Gdynia. In 1999 he also produced Krzysztof Krauze Thriller debt, which was awarded in 2000 with the Polish Film Award for Best Theatrical production.
In 1988 he co-founded the production company free zebra in Warsaw, for whom he worked until today and which produced some remarkable films in the post-reunification period.
