Jun Mizutani

Jun Mizutani (Japanese水 谷 隼, Mizutani June, born June 9, 1989 in Iwata, Shizuoka Prefecture) is a Japanese table tennis player, who plays in Tokyo for Meiji University and in addition to the Chinese Super League club Sichuan. He is a great talent because he was so far the youngest national Japanese master at the age of 17 years and has other international successes. He is left-handed and use the shakehand grip.

Career

Mizutani parents were Table Tennis Coaches in Japan. The age of five Mizutani began playing table tennis. He was discovered by the German coach Mario Amizic. In 2003 he moved to Germany, where he joined the regional league DJK 07 Borussia Münster joined. A year later he moved to DJK Germania Holthausen to the 2nd Bundesliga. In 2006 he was engaged by Borussia Dusseldorf.
