The 451 Expressway is an expressway in South Korea. The motorway forms the western bypass of the city of Daegu, and runs between the Expressway 45 and Expressway 1 The highway is 30 kilometers long.

Street Description

South of Daegu begins the Expressway 451 on the Cross with the Expressway 45, this comes from Changwon on the southern coast and continues into the interior of the country. The highway has 2x2 lanes, and then crossing the Expressway 12 After this interchange, the highway passes by heading west along the city Daegu, and is doing some with a parallel local expressway. And then ends on the Expressway 1 and the Expressway 55

History

The highway was released in two phases to traffic, the first on 17 December 1977 by Deagu to the south and on 28 June 1984 to the north. In 1998, a part of the road was widened to 2x3 lanes and it was renamed from Expressway 45 in Expressway 451 on 25 August 2001 In 2006, a part of the road was widened to 2x5 lanes.
