Jure Dobelšek ( born April 1, 1984 in Celje, SR Slovenia, SFR Yugoslavia) is a Slovenian handball player. He is 1.92 m tall.

Dobelšek, the last for the Slovenian club RK Koper ( back number 3) and played for the Slovenian national team ( back number 5) runs, is usually used on the left wing.

Although born in Celje, Jure Dobelšek not debuted for the RK Celje, but for the RK Velenje in Slovenia's first league. With the men from the north- east of Slovenia it but never managed to get past the club of his hometown. Dobelšeks biggest successes were the Slovenian Cup 2003 and the vice - championships in 2004, 2005 and 2007. Dobelšek In 2009 moved to RK Koper. With Koper he won the 2011 EHF Challenge Cup.

Jure Dobelšek has been disputed 86 caps for the Slovenian national team. With Slovenia, he participated in the 2007 World Cup in Germany, but finished only 10th place; at the 2008 European Championships in Norway, he retired with his country after the Main Round.

Jures brother Luka Dobelšek is also a professional handball player and currently plays for RK Velenje.
