Jürgen Brümmer

Jürgen Brümmer ( born December 8, 1964 in Stuttgart, † February 25, 2014 in Ostfildern ) was a German gymnast and sports physiotherapist.

He won nine German championship title. Brümmer took part in 1987 and 1989 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships and was also at the European Gymnastics Championships 1987 at the Summer Olympics in 1988 the West German team.

As a sports physiotherapist supervised Brümmer 1992, the junior national team of gymnasts from 1992 to 1994, the handball team TSV Scharnhausen and from 1996 to 1998, then playing in the 2nd Bundesliga Stuttgart Kickers.

On the night of February 25, 2014 Brümmer committed suicide. A short time later, his 15 - year-old son, who was in need of care for a serious accident in 2012, found dead. Brümmer survived by his wife and another son.
