Jürgen Evers

Jürgen Evers ( born April 29, 1965 in Stuttgart ) is a former German track and field athlete and Olympian, who - starting for the Federal Republic - in the 1980s was a successful sprinter. His greatest achievement is the silver medal in the 200 - meter race at the European Championships 1986 ( 20.75 s ). His personal best time over 200 meters was 20.37 s until the reunification was the German record.

Jürgen Evers started for the club SV Salamander Kornwestheim. In his playing days, he was 1.83 m tall and 65 kg.
