Jürgen Gronau ( born August 25, 1962) is a former German footballer who was active for FC St. Pauli in the Bundesliga and 2nd Bundesliga in 318 games.

Career

His football career started with FC St. Pauli in the Amateur Oberliga Nord, where he was 1983 champion and 1984 runner-up celebrated as the rise and the return St.Paulis to the 2nd Bundesliga. After the renewed descent into the league in 1985, he succeeded the with the club in the next two years, two climbs and the walkover to the Bundesliga. From 1988 to 1997, Mr. Gronau played 117 games in the Bundesliga, where he scored eleven goals. In addition, he completed during this period still 201 games in the Bundesliga 2. After end of his career as a professional player, he was also still active for the SV Halstenbek- Rellingen and Union 03 Altona. Later, he was coach of the junior team of FC St. Pauli.
