Jürgen Schade

Jürgen Schade ( born December 3, 1942 in Berlin ) is a German politician ( SPD).

After his graduation Schade made ​​the first theological examination ( Protestant), the first and second state examination in law and a doctorate in Munich. He was a research associate at the Max - Planck - Institute for International Patent Law, 1977, he entered the service of the German Patent Office. In the years 1981/82, he was seconded to the World Intellectual Property Organization. In 1986 he joined as a judge to the Federal Patent Court. From 2001 to 2008 he was President of the German Patent and Trademark Office.

In 1970 Schade member of the SPD, for which he sat in the municipal councils of Ottobrunn and Gauting and 1994-1998 in the Bavarian Parliament.
