Jürgen Schmid

Jürgen Schmid ( born February 11, 1982 in Parsberg ) is a former German football player and current coach.

Player Career

With the football games Schmid began at his hometown club SV Breitenbrunn, after which he went to TV Parsberg, SG Post South Regensburg and later to Bayern Munich. Even in his last year in the U-19 he once played for the U- 23 in the Regionalliga Süd, in which he firmly moved without being able to enforce it. So he went after a year in the Bavarian League 1 SC Feucht, with the first year he returned again to the Regionalliga. After two years, the striker had firmly established and drawn attention to themselves with ten goals in 31 games, other clubs.

In 2005 he moved within the league for SSV Jahn Regensburg. After descending from the Regional 2006, he remained faithful to the Jahn and was in fact one of the guarantors of the rise SSV with 13 goals in his 24 missions. Back in the Regional League, he played in the 2007/ 08 season a good season so far. However, during the winter break, he moved to SV Sandhausen. At the end of the season, the club qualified for the new single-track 3 league, but although Schmid came to 26 inserts for sand Hausener within the calendar year 2008, he could not be there to properly enforce and so he moved after only a year in the winter break back to the also for the 3rd league qualified SSV Jahn Regensburg.

He played a successful second round with 5 goals in 16 games and was in the 2009/10 season choice strikers at Jahn. However, he only scored two goals and so among other things Tobias Schweinsteiger and Michael Klauss were brought in as reinforcement, which made him the place in dispute. In the following two years, so he only came on every 16 season games. 2012 ended the club's season at No. 3 and made two relegation matches against Karlsruher SC, where he did not play, promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga.

Coaching career

After the climb, he ended his active career and became a coach in his youth club SV Breitenbrunn.
