KÃ¥bdalis
Kåbdalis ( Sami: Goabddális ) is a place ( småort ) in the Swedish province of Norrbotten County and the historic province of Lapland.
The nearest town ( tätort ) is Jokkmokk. Since 1961, stands in the place its own chapel available, while the parish is based in Jokkmokk. Kåbdalis is known for its excellent conditions for winter sports. The FIS operates on the mountain often Goabddálisvárre World Cup race in alpine slalom.
The Inland Railway runs through Kåbdalis. In the summer months there are trains from the small station to Ostersund and Gallivare. During the winter months there are only passenger at the time of the winter market in Jokkmokk. 1937 was completed in the Inland Railway in the presence of King Gustav V and erected a monument to the memory of it. Through the town also leads the European Route 45
