Kachrylion

Kachrylion (also Chachrylion ) was an Athenian pottery at the end of 6./Anfang of the 5th century BC

Kachrylion put forth mainly flat goblets ( Kylikes ) in his workshop. In his workshop he employed some of the most important painters of the early red-figure painting, including with Euphronios one of the most important representatives of the so-called pioneer group. In addition, worked with him and the older masters Oltos who taught many of the young painter in Kachrylions workshop art. From him today 30 signed works are known, 29 cups and a plate.
