Kai Bracht
Kai Bracht (born 27 April 1978 Eberbach ) is a former German ski jumper and lives in Oberstdorf. He began his career on the cat's back jump in Odenwald. In 1996 he was Junior World Champion. He currently works as national coach of the Nordic combined. Kai Bracht is the younger brother of Timo Bracht, German triathlete and Ironman European Championship 2009.
Career
Bracht debuted in the 1994/95 season in the Continental Cup. Three times he jumped at Continentalcupspringen to square one. At the Junior World Championships in 1996 in Asiago he took the team to third place. His debut in the World Cup was followed on 24 January 2002 in Hakuba. He got the best result in the World Cup team competition in Sapporo with fourth place. In the Winter Universiade in Innsbruck / Seefeld he finished 15th place. At the German Championships, he was three times champion team, once champion in singles, once second in the team and twice third in the team.
