Kei Kecil ( Kai Kecil, Kai Ketjil, small or low Kei, locally: Nuhu Roa ) is an island of the Kei islands in the archipelago of the Moluccas. The name comes probably from the Portuguese ago who took this island as the first possession. Since the island is very rocky and the Portuguese word Kayo as much as "stone" or "rock" means this derivation is closest. The island is flat unlike other Molucca islands, only two smaller surveys are the exception. The island is known for its extraordinary beaches and beautiful coral reefs.
