Southeast Maluku Regency

The Southeast Moluccas ( Maluku Tenggara Indonesian ) is a government district ( kabupaten ) in the Indonesian province of Maluku.

Geography

The Southeast Moluccas have an area of ​​4676 km ², spread over 119 islands. The sea area is 3180.70 km ². The Southeast Moluccas consist of the majority of the Kei Islands. The rest of the Kei Islands is part of the autonomous city of Tual.

Capital since 2011 on Kei Kecil Langgur, connected by a bridge over a strait with the old capital Tual.
