Kaiserpreis

The Emperor price was after the Gordon Bennett race in 1904, the second major motor sports event in Germany. He found once in 1907 instead.

He was discharged on a 117 km long route through the Taunus, which led back from Oberursel to Weilburg. Numerous German brands ( Opel, Mercedes, Eisenach, Adler and others) were at the start. The victory went to the Italian Felice Nazzaro at Fiat. The prize for the best German vehicle was Carl Jörns / 65 awarded to Opel Opel 34 and gave the title purveyor.

In subsequent years, the Prince Heinrich Rally was held the unique race to the Emperor price then repeatedly held: Prince Henry was the motorsport enthusiast brother of Kaiser Wilhelm II
