The Kajot Arena until 2011 known as Hala Rondo or as Starobrno Rondo Aréna, is a multi-purpose hall in Brno, Czech Republic, in the district Staré Brno. The maximum seating capacity of 7,200 spectators.

History

The foundation stone for the building complex was carried out in 1972. Particular difficulties during construction, missing material and a sandy soil delayed the completion.

The opening of the building was carried out as part of the Bowling World Cup in 1982. Since 1999, the HC Kometa Brno plays its home games out in the big ice rink. Since then, the ice rink was ten times sold. In addition, the users of the building complex is a second ice surface, the Hala Rondo II, for training purposes.

In addition to the home matches of HC Kometa Brno, the hall is also used for motocross, ice shows and concerts.
