Kama Sutra Records

Kama Sutra Records was founded in 1965. The label went from Kama Sutra Productions, which was established in 1964 founded by Arthur Ripp, Hy Mizrahi and Phil Steinberg together, out.

Due to contractual problems with the former distributor MGM Records in 1967 founded the management Buddah Records and introduced in 1976 the publications on a Kama Sutra. After the founding in 1982 appeared as Sutra Records back in appearance and is one of Sony BMG Music Entertainment.

Under the label published works by, inter alia, Brewer & Shipley, Charlie Daniels Band, Exuma, The Flamin ' Groovies, Gunhill Road, The Innocense, The Jaguars, The Lovin ' Spoonful, NRBQ, Ocean, Sha Na Na, Sopwith Camel, Stories and Tradewinds.
